This Site is run by TributeBoard and exists to provide information about our organization and to provide an online means to send group messages of appreciation. This Privacy Policy sets forth TributeBoard’s policy with respect to information including personally identifiable data, such as your name, email address, credit card information, address book and your photographs (collectively, “Personal Data”), and other information that is collected from Site visitors.

Information We Collect:
Personal Data That You Provide Through the Site: We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information, including when you contact us with inquiries, respond to one of our surveys, register for access to the TributeBoard Services, post photographs or use certain TributeBoard Services, such as sending or responding to TributeBoard correspondence (collectively “Posts”).

By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you consent to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is intended to cover collection of information on the Site from residents of the United States. If you provide Personal Data to this Site, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of TributeBoard and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States.

Information Others Share About You:
We receive certain Personal Data about you from other users when they upload your contact information, send you TributeBoard correspondence, or post a photo of you.


User Content:
We may also collect information intended for public consumption that you or others upload, post, publish, or display on the Site, including photos, comments, text, video, messages, graphics, or other materials (“User Content”).

Demographic or Other Data:
We also collect and store demographic or other data, such as age, gender, zip code or similar information, from you when you voluntarily provide such information. We may also receive information about you from other sources, online or offline, and add it to the information you provided to us.

Data about Others:
We may also collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us through your use of the TributeBoard Services. We use guests’ contact information to, among other things, allow them to respond to your TributeBoard. At your request, we may send reminders to contributors and display their names to other contributors of the same board. Other than as described in this Privacy Policy, we will not intentionally sell or otherwise disclose contributor contact information that you submit to any third party.

IP Addresses:
The web requests you make to TributeBoard include your IP address. We may use your IP address for various purposes, including to: analyze and report upon the usage of our Site. Along with the content, features and services made available through the Site; diagnose and prevent service or technology problems affecting out Site; and monitor and prevent fraud and abuse.


Non-Personally Identifiable Data:
In addition to the Personal Data that we collect (as described in this Privacy Policy), when you interact with TributeBoard through the Site, we receive and store certain information that cannot presently be used to identify you (“non-personally identifiable information”). Such non-personally identifiable information is collected passively using various technologies such as web beacons and may be used to track usage of the Site, determine whether messages have been opened or acted upon or customize TributeBoard Services. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and this type of aggregated information does not identify you personally (the “Aggregate Data”), and TributeBoard may share this Aggregate Data with its affiliates, agents and business partners. Our Use of Your Personal Data and Other Information:

TributeBoard employs the Personal Data you provide in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data for a certain reason, we may use the Personal Data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. For instance, if you contact us by e-mail, we will use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem. Also, if you provide Personal Data in order to obtain access to the TributeBoard Services, we will use your Personal Data to provide you with access to such services, to monitor your use of such services and to contact you regarding your use of said services. In addition, TributeBoard may use financial information or payment method to process payment for any purchases made on the Site, to protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions, and otherwise as needed to manage our business. As described above, TributeBoard may collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us through your use of the TributeBoard Services. TributeBoard may use such information to help us improve the content and functionality of the Site, to better understand our users and to improve the TributeBoard Services. Among other things, we may use invited this contact information to offer guests the opportunity to contact each other through the Site.


If TributeBoard intends on using any Personal Data in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, you will be informed of such anticipated use prior to or at the time at which the Personal Data is collected.


Facebook Connect:


In the future, you may be able to log in to our Site using Facebook Connect. Facebook Connect will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain Personal Data with us.

Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data and Other Information:

TributeBoard is not in the business of selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:


Other Contributors:
Other users invited to contribute to the same TributeBoard as you will be able to view your name on the invited contributor emails. TributeBoard will not display or give out your e-mail address or any other contact information to other users except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

Any User Content that you post to the Site may be displayed to other users; for example, contributors to a board you created may see photos you posted on the board. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other users who may view your User Content, so do not post any User Content that you wish to keep private.


Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties:
TributeBoard sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples functions could include mailing information, maintaining databases, analyzing data, marketing, and processing payments. When we utilize another company to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function, and they may only use such information for our benefit and the purposes for which they were engaged.

Business Transfers:
As we develop our business, we might sell, buy or merge businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets.

Related Companies:
We may also share your Personal Data with our Related Companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Legal Requirements:
TributeBoard may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation or a government request, (ii) verify compliance with or enforce our Terms of Service or protect and defend the rights or property of TributeBoard, users of the Site or others (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.



Your Choices:

You can access the Site without providing any Personal Data when you view other TributeBoards. If you choose not to provide any Personal Data, you will not be able to use certain TributeBoard Services, such as creating a TributeBoard, submitting a tribute, or uploading photos and videos.


Exclusions:

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Data collected by TributeBoard other than Personal Data collected through the Site. This Privacy Policy shall not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to TributeBoard through this Site or through any other means. This includes, but is not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Site (collectively, “Public Areas”), any ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and TributeBoard shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute such Unsolicited Information to others without limitation or attribution.


Children:

TributeBoard does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data through the Site. We strongly encourage parents to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data on this Site without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Data to TributeBoard through this Site, please contact us, and we will investigate and if necessary delete that information from our databases.


International Users:

If you are using or visiting the Site from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that by such use or visit you are agreeing to the transfer of your information to the United States and to processing globally. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site. This Site may contain links to other web sites not operated or controlled by TributeBoard (the “Third Party Sites”). The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third Party Sites. The links from this Site do not imply that TributeBoard endorses or has reviewed the Third Party Sites. TributeBoard takes reasonable steps (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to protect the Personal Data provided via the Site from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
